Three Waters Stimulus Funding Programme
The Challenge
During August The Government allocated over $500M for Three Waters stimulus and reform funding for councils announced by Prime Minister Hon Jacinda Ardern earlier that month. Councils were asked to develop delivery plans for the projects to the total of their funding allocation against certain criteria.
The Solution
ProjectMax were approached to provide experienced engineers to support the delivery plans and to review them to ensure that the governments funding objectives were going to be met. ProjectMax provided three of the total complement of eight reviewers covering all of the councils within New Zealand. Our engineers were retained in their roles to provide account management services to support the councils in the delivery and progress reporting of their stimulus programmes.
The Result
The delivery plans were all completed and reviewed and the funding programme is underway.
