Water Reform Request for Information
The Challenge
As part of the preparation for water reform all councils in New Zealand were asked to provide information that would assist the New Zealand Government in determining options for the shape of a future water industry. This information was to include information on assets held, liabilities and future plans as well as financial information. A substantially large amount of information needed to be gathered over a short period of time.
The Solution
ProjectMax were approached to provide experienced engineers with local government experience to support the councils to collate this data in a timely manner. The ProjectMax staff were the first point of contact for the councils to clarify queries around the data requirements and to ensure that the required timelines were adhered to.
The Result
All the information was gathered in the required timescale which permitted the analysis to be carried out and the ProjectMax engineers participated in providing feedback to the councils on the data provided.
